David “Dave” Kyle is a dynamic project management professional with a 25+ year track record of delivering best-in-class outcomes for offshore, subsea, and marine construction and decommissioning projects. He has delivered projects for installation contractors, engineering consulting firms, and owner/operators, successfully leading teams through all phases of project lifecycles, including pre-FEED, FEED, engineering, execution, and closeout. With a diverse background as an installation contractor, owner/operator representative, and engineering consultant, Dave aligns and integrates teams, bridges potential culture gaps, and positively influences collaborative solutions.
After graduating from Texas A&M, Dave started his career in 1999 as a field engineer for Horizon Offshore Contractors (HOCI) and became a project manager just five years out of college. He managed several of Horizon Offshore’s subsea installation vessels. After successfully completing projects in New York, Boston, Colombia, Mexico, the Bahamas, and throughout the Gulf of Mexico, Dave left Horizon Offshore (acquired by Cal Dive in 2008) and joined BP as a subsea project manager in 2011. Over the next decade at BP, Dave managed deepwater projects at BP’s Thunder Horse, Atlantis, and Na Kika fields.
Dave’s depth of technical and commercial experience makes him a valuable Part Hydra’s Project Management Team.
