Hydra Offshore and Subsea Construction Hires Business Development Expert

Dennis Niblett Offers Over Two Decades of Experience in Business Development

Hydra Offshore & Subsea Construction is proud to announce a new addition to their team, Dennis Niblett. Dennis will use his skills and years of vessel knowledge to bring in new and valuable business.

Niblett previously spent over 10 years as the owner and operator of a golf shop in Kingwood, Texas. Niblett connected heavily with regular customers within the oil and gas business and decided to use this network to help him make a career change. Niblett eventually sold his golf shop and moved into his first role at Global Industries.

Throughout his career, Niblett has had a number of successes, including heavy involvement in his first full field development in the Gulf of Mexico, which had a budget of $40 million. In addition, Niblett has set up successful connections leading to ongoing projects for M&H Energy. Niblett is also a key founder of the Bright Light Foundation, which raises money to help support injured employees within the oil and gas industry in the Gulf Coast region. To date, the Bright Light Foundation has raised over $4 million through various fund-raising activities.

“I feel as though I can be a great asset to the team here at Hydra. I am confident that I can bring profitable business into Hydra and create meaningful client connections,” Niblett says.

Trevor Davis, president and CEO of Hydra, discussed Dennis Niblett as being a part of the Hydra team on the Business Development side.

“We are glad to have Dennis on board,” Davis said. “Dennis will undoubtedly serve as an asset to our team and we can’t wait to see his ideas cultivate into valuable business to help this company grow.”
