Trevor Davis is the ideal leader for your project. With over 30 years of experience in the offshore industry, he combines discipline, drive, and adaptability to ensure success.
Trevor’s passion for the ocean ignited at age 13 while scuba diving in Narragansett Bay, Rhode Island. At 18, he enlisted in the U.S. Navy and served aboard the USS George Washington. Initially, he was an Aviation Ordinanceman (AO) on the Flight Deck Ordnance Crew for Fighter Squadron VFA-131 Wildcats. He later joined the Integrated Weapons Team for a squadron of 11 F/A-18 Hornets, supporting Battle Group 6 and Carrier Air Group 7. Throughout his naval career, Trevor was deployed to the Mediterranean Sea, Adriatic Sea, and Arabian Gulf in support of Operation Southern Watch (Iraq) and Operation Joint Endeavor (Bosnia and Herzegovina).
After leaving the military, Trevor transitioned to the Merchant Marine Industry in New York City, working as a member of the Local 333 Maritime Union, where he delivered aggregates via tugboats in the tri-state area. At 27, he relocated to Houston, Texas, to pursue a career in commercial diving. Following six months of training at the Ocean Corp, where he earned his Commercial Diver Certification, he launched a successful career in the oil and gas sector.
Driven by an entrepreneurial spirit, Trevor earned a Bachelor of Business degree and an MBA from the Bauer College of Business at the University of Houston, completing an international residency in Beijing and Xi’an. His extensive international experience spans the Middle East, Southeast Asia, South America, Europe, and Scandinavia.

Under their leadership, Hydra has consistently ranked among the top 20 of over 650 Cougar-owned businesses in the Houston Business Journal’s Cougar 100. In 1997, Bill joined Horizon Offshore Contractors as a founding executive team member for a small domestic construction services company featuring two construction vessels and less than 100 team members. From 1997 to 2007, Bill and his executive counterparts took the company public on the NASDAQ market while driving revenue growth from $30 million to $500 million and footprint growth to encompass the U.S., Mexico, South America, West Africa, and Southeast Asia. Bill served in roles expanding domestic project management and operations to an international scale before assuming increasing ownership of the commercial function.
In 2007, Horizon was acquired by Cal Dive International for $685 million. Bill was pivotal in positioning Horizon for acquisition and served on a six-person due diligence and integration team to streamline the transaction. Following the transition in ownership, he joined Cal Dive as the Vice President of commercial activities, overseeing estimating, marketing, sales, and business development.

Bill exited Cal Dive in 2015 and launched Breen Enterprises, a boutique consultancy serving oil & gas and energy transition businesses with annual revenues ranging from $30 million to $100 million. Leveraging his talent in connecting technical, operational, and financial needs to unlock business growth, Bill provides strategic guidance and fractional leadership to enable activities across the business.
In 2016, Bill cofounded TBR Advisors, a concurrent interest focused on evaluating, funding, and acquiring public and private energy industry prospects of up to $400 million, both onshore and offshore. Bill and his partners additionally engage in due diligence for investor-presented opportunities.

Dennis Niblett has over 20 years of experience in business development and was the previous owner and operator for over 10 years of a golf shop in Kingwood, Texas.

Soon, these small exchanges cultivated into real discussions about Dennis selling his shop and making a career change. Dennis got to work putting together a resume and landed an impromptu interview with a crucial decision-maker for Global Industries. While unusual, Dennis aced his interview on a ride to the airport and got the job by the end of the trip. He started two weeks later in his new role following the successful sale of his golf shop.
Dennis has had several accomplishments including heavy involvement in his first full field development in the Gulf of Mexico as part of Global Industries, which had a budget of $40 million. He also established fundamental connections that led to ongoing projects for M&H Energy.
On top of Dennis’ professional achievements, he is a key founder of the Bright Light Foundation, which raises money to help support those who have been injured on the job within the oil and gas industry in the Gulf Coast region. To date, the Bright Light Foundation has raised over $4 million and has assisted over 200 people in need through golf tournaments and auctions.
